Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) Limited was jointly established in the Republic of Ghana in 2007 by Shenzhen Energy Corporation(SEC) and China-Africa Development Fund Co., Ltd (CADF), integrated with the advantages of SEC’s sufficient experience in electric power generation and CADF’s financial superiority at investing in Africa. Sunon Asogli Power aims to mitigate the tension in power supply in Ghana through building and operating a 560MW gas-steam combined cycle generation power plant in Tema, Ghana.
The first phase of 200MW project is planned to be completed and put into commercial operation at the beginning of 2009.The second phase of 360MW project will also be developed soon after the first phase.
The Kpone power plant of Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) Limited is the first oversea project of Shenzhen Energy Corporation and also a project with strategic significance which is participated by China-Africa Development Fund since the foundation of CADF. The power plant project has obtained great support of both shareholders and from the governments advocated by both China and Ghana. Bearing in mind of the principle of the sustainable development of both shareholders, Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) Limited wishes to extend to the entire West African market while basing in Ghana and make our contribution to the power generation and economic development of Ghana and West Africa region.
2007年，凭借深圳能源成熟丰富的电力行业经验及中非发展基金对非洲地区投资的天然优势，深圳能源集团股份有限公司和中非基金有限公司在非洲加纳共和国共同投资成立了深能安所固电力（加纳）有限公司。公司拟通过投资和运营一家560MW燃气-蒸汽联合循环发电厂，来改善目前加纳共和国电力供应紧张的局面。
公司一期200MW项目目前处于紧张的施工建设中，计划于2009年初竣工并投入商业运行。二期360MW工程也将尽快展开。
深能安所固电力（加纳）有限公司的博恩电厂是深圳能源集团股份有限公司首个海外项目，是中非基金成立以来参与的一个具有重大战略意义的项目，项目得到了双方股东以及中国、加纳两国政府的大力支持。深能安所固电力（加纳）有限公司秉承双方股东的可持续发展宗旨，籍以加纳为基地，面向整个西非电力市场，为加纳和西非的电力建设和经济发展做出贡献。
